The first trailer for “Masters of the Universe” impresses | Filmzine

The first five episodes of the animated series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” will be released on Netflix on July 23.

Kevin Smith’s sequel to the classic ’80s series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” will be released on Netflix in late July. Waiting is suddenly becoming more and more difficult to deal with, after the streaming service released its first trailer before the premiere.

Among the first reactions to the release of the trailer for “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” the production seems to have managed to bend in all kinds of boxes of nostalgia. In the MovieZine VIP group on Facebook you can read:

For those who are not familiar with the history of He-Man and Eternia in the past, the official description of “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” reads as follows:

The War for Eternia culminates in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” an innovative, action-packed animated series that continues where the iconic series ended decades ago. After a disastrous battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is left in ruins and the heroes fall apart. “After decades of secrets ripping them apart, it is up to Tila to reunite the divided heroes and solve the mystery of the lost power in a battle against time to restore Eternia and prevent the destruction of the universe.”

Actors Mark Hamill (Skeletor), Chris Wood (He-Man) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Teela) lend their voices to the main roles in the series. Alicia Silverstone, William Cunningham, Lena Headey and Kevin Conroy voice their voices for other characters during the season.

On July 23, the first five episodes of the season will be released, which will consist of a total of ten episodes. However, it remains unclear exactly when we will be involved in the second half of the season.
