Prince Harry leaves UK – flies home after a quick visit

Prince Harry stayed in the UK for only a week. On Monday, the prince returned to Montecito, California, and his pregnant wife, Megan. Meghan did not attend Prince Philip’s funeral because doctors had advised her not to make the long trip from Los Angeles to London.

Instead, Megan watched the funeral on TV. I also sent a final salute to Prince Philip. On a wreath of flowers from her and from Harry, which was placed on the sarcophagus inside the chapel, there was a handwritten card from Megan.

On a walk with Prince Charles’ dad

According to sources, Harry spent the last day walking the property in Windsor with his father Prince Charles, 72, and seeing flower arrangements in honor of Prince Phillips, writes daily Mail.

What the father and son discussed did not come to light. Nor did he highlight what Harry and Prince William discussed in their high-profile conversation regarding the funeral. Prior to the conversation, Harry is seen walking and talking to Duchess Kate. The relationship between the two brothers has been strained since Harry and Meghan’s famous interview with Oprah Winfrey, as the couple aired accusations of racism within the British royal family.

Frozen by parts of the family

According to Daily Mail sources, Harry should not be received too warmly by many members of the royal family. Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie should never want to get to know the Prince, neither during the week before the funeral nor during the ceremony.

They have a deep feeling of wanting to protect the Queen and hate Harry. There is little sympathy for him after what he and Megan said about Oprah, says one of the sources.
