NBCUniversal offers its live events to Twitter users globally

An exclusive look at the Golden Globes, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and other NBC live events head to Twitter.

NBCUniversal and Twitter from Comcast on Monday announced a multi-year global content partnership, in an effort to expand the media company’s advertising, social media giant and reach audiences.

As part of the partnership, NBCUniversal will bring live, popular content, such as scenes from red carpet events and high-profile sporting events, to Twitter. The global audience will then be able to watch and discuss specific coverage of the events on Twitter in real time. This will help expand the corporate social stock around the world for marketers.

Twitter will also provide broader sales support to network advertising partners, according to a statement announcing the deal.
