Cyberpunk 2077 Data workers may have discovered details about the upcoming multiplayer modes for CD Projekt Red’s RPG.
As I mentioned DSO games (Across VGC), It appears that data watchers have found details about the upcoming multiplayer modes after searching the “executable” in Cyberpunk 2077. Among the code are references to the two different multiplayer modes. The first mode that has been revealed is said to be Burglar mode, while the second mode appears to be set to Deathmatch.
The file shows some of the functionality of the two modes, and also hints at the multiplayer reliance on P2P (peer-to-peer) connections rather than dedicated servers. Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean Cyberpunk 2077 won’t have dedicated multiplayer servers when it launches – everything discovered in the file is not static and could change in the future.
Shortly before the RPG was released on December 10 last year, CD Projekt Red revealed that it was treating the multiplayer side of things as a ‘Independent project’. CEO Adam Kaczynski talked about the multiplayer plans during an investor call, saying, “So, first, we don’t call it modes … it’s a separate dedicated production, a major production. We’re thinking of it as a standalone project.”
With interest in Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One and PS4 after many reports Performance problemsCD Projekt Red previously said it will be Discussing multiplayer and downloadable content early this year, With It plans to release free DLC content in early 2021.
Currently, there is no group Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Release Date. As with any data and leaks of this kind, it’s always best to tackle it with a pinch of salt, but it is definitely interesting to see what direction multiplayer might take in Cyberpunk 2077.
