Here you can watch the short film extraterrestrial life Which shows how any future colonies on the Moon could look and function. The film was produced by the architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill with the assistance of the European Space Agency (ESA). Write about the movie yourself:
“A detailed concept of a lunar habitat, created by one of the world’s leading architectural firms with technical support from ESA, is currently on display at the Biennale in Venice. The European Space Agency is developing a semi-inflatable habitat design that could be part of a long-term vision for an international lunar settlement.”
The fictional lunar colony shown in the movie is located in an area called Shackleton Crater near the south pole of the moon. It would be an ideal location, if any, on the Moon when access to sunlight is plentiful. Access to ice that can become water is also available at a fairly close distance. In addition, the inhabitants of the lunar colony can constantly see the Earth.
