Saturday night marks the second installment of Pay-Per-View Full Gear, and this year’s show remembers the start as one of the promotion’s best PPVs so far. Just like the All Out PPV in September and the weekly releases of Dynamite, a limited number of fans will be attending Daily’s Place for Full Gear.
In the main event, John Moxley will put the AEW Championship to the test against Eddie Kingston in the “I Quit” match. The two have been totally at odds for the past several weeks after Moxley defeated Kingston on the September 23 episode of Dynamite. Kingston fainted in the loss and made it clear that he had never moved to Moxley. Moxley will be looking to continue his AEW career, which began last February when he defeated Chris Jericho at Revolution.
At Full Gear last year, Cody had an interesting stipulation in his match with Jericho: If Cody lost, he wouldn’t compete for the AEW Championship again. Up until this point, this turns out to be the case as Cody currently holds the TNT title (which he will defend on Saturday against Darby Allen). Young Bucks made the same announcement for the AEW Tag Team Championship match against FTR in Full Gear. If he loses the Young Bucks, he will not challenge the AEW titles again.
Additionally, Jericho would fight MJF, and if MJF won, he would be allowed to join the inner circle. Add to that the AEW Championship No. 1 competitor’s match between Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page among everything else, and it could be a wild evening in the Daily Place on Saturday.
CBS Sports will be with you all the way on Saturday, updating this story with live scores and notable events along with detailed summaries of each match. AEW Full Gear kicks off at 8 PM ET, with Buy-In pre-show starting an hour in advance. Full results and scores from each match can be found in Live Updates below the card.
